Freedom Melon 🇵🇸🍉 Custom Wire Muzzles
We believe that at this time in history, there is no truer test of humanity than the story of the Palestinian People. History will forever remember our generation for what happens to Palestine today—and we are heartbroken to admit that the legacy of the American empire will be a live-streamed genocide, among so many other atrocities. As we refuse to support the actions of our government in their support of the isr*eli genocide on Palestine, we feel it imperative to support the people of Palestine in any way we can. Although we have been donating our personal funds to various causes in support of Palestinians (Gazans especially) over the last couple of years, we believe that art is resistance, and we want to help each other show solidarity with the Palestinian people by using our art for a better purpose.
All profits from the Freedom Melon Muzzles will be donated to Human Concern International’s campaign to provide flour to the people of Gaza. In the midst of a manmade famine under the illegal isr*eli seige, a single 55lb/25kg bag of flour can cost up to $600 USD. Through this campaign, they are raising money for $200 USD bags of flour to help feed Gazan families. We hope to raise enough to help provide several bags of flour to feed those who need it most in the world right now. We also recognize that many charities are accepting donations for Gaza, but are simply unable to actually use that money to help Palestinians due to the illegal blockade imposed by the occupation. This HCI Campaign is a collaboration with Renad from Gaza, an 11 year old young chef, who has truly captured our hearts and has already helped so many people in need. Our hope is that by following the lead of someone actually in Gaza, who knows which charity/mutual aid fund can do the most good within their community, we can ensure that our donations do the most possible good. We hope to honor Renad and her people with our Palestine Collection.

Lastly, while some may advise against “mixing business with politics”, we recognize extremely clearly that business inherently can not be separated from politics, especially in our capitalist society. Our Custom Muzzles are expertly sized according to your pup’s specific measurements, widely regarded as bite proof, well ventilated and lightweight, and are great for outdoor adventures, playtime, and daily wear!
The strap design for the Freedom Melon muzzle is a white noseband with forest or neon green green braids, a strawberry red or hibiscus pink neck strap and chin strap, a red or pink forehead strap (optional), and a green collar loop (optional). The optional muzzle message would be made in red or pink as standard design. These colors can be slightly adjusted if requested, but we ask that you stick to the theme of the watermelon colors.
Custom muzzles currently take an estimated 5-7 weeks to build and have shipped out. Shipping times vary by location. You can choose to pay to Expedite the Making of your Order if you need it urgently, which we would aim to have finished in 2-3 weeks. Full Shipping Info and Wait Times can be found here.
**Please reach out to us prior to ordering if you have a dog who is Brachycephalic, under 12lbs, or an extremely giant breed, especially if they are over 150lbs or a breed such as a St Bernard, as these are much more complicated designs. We can likely still help, but will want to verify your dog’s measurements first to be sure.

Wire basket muzzles are well ventilated and lightweight, and are great for reactive dogs, BSL, emergencies, vet visits or preventing scavenging (with our Vinyl Scavenger Guard Add-On). Since they are welded steel, they are widely considered to be as close to “bite proof” as it gets, though this is contingent on the muzzle being correctly sized and secured.
Keep in mind, ensuring that your muzzle is secure and adequately sized is ultimately your responsibility. By purchasing from us, you recognize that we build our gear as strong and secure as possible, but we are not responsible for the failure of equipment, especially if it is used incorrectly. If you’re concerned or unsure of the adjustment of the straps of your muzzle, please reach out to us for assistance. Making sure the muzzle is secure, that screws are fully tightened, and that no straps are damaged when you use your muzzle is of utmost importance to keep your dog safe, so we recommend checking your muzzle routinely to ensure that it has no damage and that screws are tightened correctly.
