Our chains can be used attached to leashes, though we generally don’t recommend using them this way, because they are thin and do not spread the pressure of a dog pulling against the chain, which can cause discomfort to your dog. Best practice is to use these as a casual collar around the house, or paired with a wider collar or well fit harness (Ruffwear makes our favorite, their “Flagline” harnesses are the best!) Our chain collar necklaces do not tighten and are not training tools.

Powder coating is a way to safely color the chain, to make your pup’s gear a bit friendlier and a lot more pretty! The powder coating also helps to protect the metal beneath from the elements, to deter rust from affecting the metal below.
